Jodi Weedon is currently the Executive Director of AustCham ASEAN. Prior to this appointment Jodi was in the role of Chief Executive Officer of AustCham Myanmar for 3 years from August 2016.  In June 2017 AustCham Myanmar won the 2017 Asia Pacific Small Chamber of the Year award in recognition for excellence, innovation, and thought leadership among our regional chamber peers. The award acknowledged the activities, high member acquisition, member engagement strategies, and the impact of the chambers within Myanmar. AustCham. In particular Jodi has led a very successful women in business and leadership development initiative and is the co-chair of a Responsible Investment Working Group in Myanmar.

Jodi is also an experienced lawyer gaining her corporate experience both within Australia and internationally, in the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia. Whilst most of her legal career has been focused on major strategic transactions, mergers and acquisitions, major infrastructure and construction projects and government tenders, in her previous role Jodi was an active member of the corporate responsibility and sustainability committee and has a keen interest in the preparation and implementation of reconciliation action plans within Australia.

Jodi has a comprehensive understanding of best practice industry standards and good governance- an understanding which she is passionate about sharing, through the chambers of commerce and industry groups throughout the ASEAN region. Her international experience has also given her excellent commercial skills and an understanding of the complexities of doing business in Asia.
